The Pro-2A, Faith-Based Action Film You Won't Want to Miss...

A few months ago, I asked the USCCA community for help in raising funds for a film that I claimed has the potential "to become the most important pro-2A movie of all time."



Let me share a quick story that explains what led up to that request for help...



Last summer, USCCA Member Dr. Patrick Johnston sent over some information to our Marketing team, asking us for support and to consider allowing him to include the USCCA logo in a "pro-2nd Amendment, faith-based action film" he was producing. A few weeks later, Dr. Johnston emailed me directly and included a short trailer of that film &mdash; called The Reliant &mdash; in his email.



To be honest, it was one of those rare moments that I'll probably always remember (sort of like that time I came across Robert Boatman's article on that airplane some 18 or so years ago). Not only did I experience a serious case of goosebumps, I also believed so much in what I saw in just a few short minutes that I immediately contacted Dr. Johnston and signed on as co-producer of the film.



Just as I did those few months ago, I still truly believe that this film has the power to change the conversation about guns and the 2nd Amendment &mdash; and I believe in and support the film's message 100 percent. I also believe that the USCCA has a responsibility to get behind powerful and potentially life-changing projects like The Reliant.

I'm proud to say that USCCA Members from all across the country stepped up and helped us raise the necessary funds to get this powerful film off the ground.



Now, we completed principal filming of The Reliant in October 2016, but we also incurred some unexpected expenses in post-production. And so I'm asking for help once again.
