        I've had alot of mercedes and what i've experienced personally =20
is that when the oil gets old (over 3000 miles) the oil consumption =20
starts. I recommend changing the oil every 3000 miles and i don't see =20
anything wrong with the car, and always be sure to use 20w50 for all =20
mercedes and bmw.  I did notice dirty oil before i got your phone call =20
to purchase the car so i did have the oil changed in the car and i did =20
put 20w50 as i always do, so i'de just keep to that routine and it =20
should be a fine car.
