Lately the check situation being paid to dealer/dealers
has been
ridiculous! Maybe nobody has checked to see how late they have
become! the
oldest ones for Bass Motorsports and Eds Mobile are April 2005. Over
$75,000
is owed to Bass Motorsports, and over $67,000 to Eds Mobil. We have
been very
patient in waiting for checks week after week and the situation seems
to be
getting worse by the week. As you know the legal time limit to
withold monies
for consignments are 20 days per vc 11730(5). Most of us stay quiet
week after
week and it seems that we are being taken advantage of because of our
silence.
We should NOT have to come there week after week and pound on the
counter to be
heard!!! And telling us to go and come back the next day again and
again to
hear the same thing is not very relaxing, and frankly quite
aggravating. How
can you justify witholding the sales monies for so long and expecting
people to
live and pay for bills, mortgage, etc... This is a business and it
does not
seem like it is being handled in a professional business like
manner. Please
do not ignore this letter and "LOOK INTO" getting caught up and
current before
further action is taken and the matter escalates to a higher degree.
